PERSONALITY & STYLE
Interior Designfor everyday living
With over eighteen years of experience in the design industry, I strongly believe that beautiful, inspiring and functional design can be available to all forms and sizes of both our homes and businesses too. Clever Interior Design should also function in a way that relieves the ever-increasing stresses of our lives by working seamlessly alongside our daily activities and needs.
While working in the banking sector I realised I had to follow my burning passion for Interior Design leading me on to study with RHODEC/Dublin Institute of Design. Since then I have crafted a distinctive portfolio of works, while building some great relationships with a team of trusted tradespeople and many repeat clients.
I spent seven years as a Senior Interior Designer for IKEA Dublin where I learnt to understand and build the brand within the Irish market through market research, home visits and studying peoples life at home I developed sustainable, tailor-made and low-cost Interior Design solutions. Specialising in situations such as living with children and small space living, style trends, furnishing with light and space planning for both store and interior layouts. I also designed and project managed commercial business setups whilst planning projects across the UK and Ireland, further broadening my knowledge of functional, and affordable Interior Design.
I then went on to launch my own Interior Design studio “Interior Living by R.B. Designs” which has been a much-loved success to date, working with my clients on the designs of an exciting and wide array of both large and small-scale residential and commercial projects. Whether you require a one-off design consultation or full Interior Design with hands-on project management, I will work closely with you to understand your vision, expectations and needs by applying a rigorous and creative design process. My open, honest, and holistic approach will take into consideration, your availability, time management, budget, and quality, with the goal of creating unique designs that exceed your expectations.
Higher end wall decals
Wall decals have become increasingly popular over the last couple of years and by using some of the higher end designs, you can create a playful look for kids that feels stylish too
I tend to steer clear of these in adult spaces but for kids, they’re a great way to make the bedroom a place that they love to be in.
